Do you recall a time before to the internet? when you have more things to accomplish in the real world and fewer online activities.
We frequently hear the phrase “Embrace & Enjoy the ride.” Indeed, we should, but here’s what I’ll tell you. You can do better if you aim for the target more.
I am the type of guy who is constantly trying to learn new things and starting new endeavors in order to do so. I never really figure out how to enjoy the journey. “When I can get there. How do I learn? What else should I learn?” is the primary thought that comes to me.
After learning the how-to, I did find joy in the process. I became so constrained by the path that I lost sight of the kind of person I wanted to become. Surprising!!! I can’t remember why I even started it.
I, like many others, don’t have the liberty to enjoy the journey because we have to accomplish more in a shorter period of time. Have you started anything purely for enjoyment or do you want to make it something that will advance your career? I think you started because you had no other option or because you like it better.
Being realistic, you should always have your eyes on the prize. Enjoy the adventure, but never forget your initial decision. If you want to succeed more quickly, aim for the target. No right, no left. Pure hard work is must.
Take your time if you want to gradually excel. Recognize and appreciate the journey you are taking. What if you achieve your goal quicker than everyone else and be lonely? Well, you need to find out yourself after being at the top.
I think success is something we all strive for. We aspire to wealth, fame, happiness, and other things. Either you put a lot of effort into achieving your goals, or you wander around deciding which route you want to pursue.
P.S: You might be hearing the opposite of what I’m saying, but if you succeed sooner, I will be more than happy being wrong. Lol.
